Maverick Medical Education
At Maverick Medical Education, students apply lessons from online pre-learning modules to experiential training exercises in a clinical environment, developing confidence and proficiency. We offer a variety of courses for CRNAs, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other allied health professionals including Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS), Essential and Advanced Regional Anesthesia, and our Chronic Pain Series.
Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia
MTSA’s Cadaveric Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anesthesia workshops are hands-on training courses utilizing cadavers and “live” scanning models, state-of-the-art ultrasound technology, and a comprehensive approach to regional anesthesia techniques for surgery and acute pain management.
Participants receive the benefits of small-group “live” scanning and needling stations, low faculty-to-attendee ratios, and an individualized learning plan that suits the attendee’s needs in regional anesthesia. Information presented will be highly practical and immediately useful to the attendee’s daily clinical practice.
Thoroughbred Anesthesia Academy, Inc
Thoroughbred Anesthesia Academy, Inc. was formed to provide Perioperative Anesthesia Education courses. They are passionate about education and excellent patient care that includes Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anesthesia, Enhanced Recovery After Surgery, and Acute Pain Service implementation. In partnership with Maverick Medical Education, Thoroughbred Anesthesia Academy offers an “Essential Techniques” course. This consists of online, interactive pre-learning modules followed by a hands-on proficiency lab that offers 16 full hours of probe and needling time. Featuring Maverick’s propriety, patent-pending pulsatile cadavers allowing participants to actually perform all blocks taught.
